GAZA, March 6 (Xinhua) -- The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Tuesday called on Arab nations, especially Egypt, to cutties with Israel following reports that Israel may have killed hundreds of Egyptian prisoners in 1967 war.

Hamas lawmaker Yehia Moussa said that "the Arab countries must settle accounts with Israel for its aggressive actions and the massacres that it had committed and kept as a secret."Moussa also urged Egypt to sue Israel before international courts.

Crisis broke out between Egypt and Israel after a documentary reported that an Israeli unit may have killed 250 captured Egyptian soldiers during 1967 war between Israel and Arab armies.

Israeli cabinet minister and former general Benjamin Ben-Eliezer, who led the unit at that time, has postponed a visit to Egypt while Palestinians worried the crisis may affect Egyptian efforts to broker Israeli-Palestinian prisoner swap deal.
