Reyes follows Beckham to be out of
Real squad
MADRID, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Spanish international Jose
Antonio Reyes followed former England captain David Beckham to be out of Real
Madrid's squad after suffering a knee injury in last weekend's Primera Liga
match.
The midfielder, who sustained a lateral ligament
strain in his left knee during Real's 1-1 draw on Saturday hosting Getafe, would
be out for three to four weeks while Beckham was sidelined for more than a month
with a more serious strain.
Both players will miss Wednesday's return leg of Real's Champions League last-16 tie against Bayern Munich. Real hold a 3-2 advantage after the first leg in Madrid.
Beckham still hopeful of playing for
England

"My ambition has never changed since the age of 13,

available whether I'm in Spain for the next four months, or whether I'm in LA,"
said Real Madrid midfielder Beckham, who has 94 caps.

to sign for United States team Los Angeles Galaxy.
