Jackson perform in Las Vegas? This may come true, as his spokeswoman
suggested Tuesday.
"Mr. Jackson has been presented numerous proposals --
proposals which he has not solicited, but were presented to him, several of
which include performing in Las Vegas," his spokeswoman Raymone K. Bain said in
a press release. "Mr. Jackson is currently reviewing and evaluating each
proposal."
But the former "King of Pop" doesn't feel any
pressure to make a quick decision, she added.
The spokeswoman also dismissed a rumors that Jackson
has failed to find a Las Vegas casino for a show and another that he would soon
appear on "American Idol."
"Mr. Jackson did not move to Las Vegas to shop a
Vegas show," Bain said. "Mr. Jackson is in Las Vegas because he likes the city
and found it a convenient location to record with the artists, songwriters and
producers who are working with him in the studio."
As to another rumor that Jackson would soon appear on
"American Idol," Bain said: "Mr. Jackson has no current plans to appear or
perform on 'American Idol.'"
The pop icon took up residence in Las Vegas a few
months ago after traveling in Europe, living in the Middle Eastern kingdom of
Bahrain and then moving to Ireland. He still maintains his Neverland ranch in
Santa Ynez, Calif.
