BEIJING, Feb. 26 (Xinhuanet) -- "Basic Instinct" may not always be reliable, especially when it comes for a second time, as the Razzies may help Sharon Stone know.

"Basic Instinct 2," the belly-flopped sequel to 1992's "Basic Instinct," swept 27th Annual Razzie Awards Saturday night with a leading four awards, including the Worst Picture, in Hollywood's annual Oscars parody.

Nine-time nominee Sharon Stone was named Worst Actress for her poorly presented physical assets as well as her performance in the box office clunker, giving her a third gold-spray-painted raspberry along with the two she picked up in 1995 for The Specialist with Sylvester Stallone.

"Baisc Instinct 2" -- known to Razzie organizers as "Basically, It Stinks, Too" -- was also dishonored with worst screenplay and worst prequel.

Razzies founder John Wilson described the convoluted and decidedly unsexy "Basic Instinct 2" as a film that "had no reason to exist."

Right behind "Instinct 2" with three Razzies was the Wayans brothers comedy "Little Man," which won worst actor (for Marlon and Shawn Wayans), worst screen couple (for Shawn and Marlon Wayans or Kerry Washington) and worst remake or rip-off. "Little Man" was called a rip-off of a 1954 Bugs Bunny cartoon.

Filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan, a Hollywood darling a few years ago with blockbusters as "The Sixth Sense" and "Signs," was named worst director and worst supporting actor for his fantasy flop, "Lady in the Water."

Carmen Electra won worst supporting actress for her work in "Date Movie" and "Scary Movie 4."

Robin Williams' road-trip comedy RV was chosen as worst excuse for family entertainment.

Wilson, who hosted the show, admitted coming to this year's dishonors with some disappointment.

Longtime Razzie mainstay Sylvester Stallone, who has a lifetime 30 Razzie nominations and 10 wins, missed out on nominations this year because his latest film, "Rocky Balboa," "didn't always suck," said Wilson.
