NAY PYI TAW, Myanmar, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- Chinese
State Councillor Tang Jiaxuan arrived at Myanmar's new administrative capital of
Nay Pyi Taw Sunday on a three-day visit to the country.
As guest of the First Secretary of the Myanmar State
Peace and Development Council Lieutenant-General Thein Sein, Tang will exchange
views with Myanmar's leaders on strengthening good-neighborly and friendly
cooperation between the two countries, and on issues of common concern.
After Myanmar visit, Tang will proceed to
Thailand.
State Councilor leaves for Myanmar, Thailand visit
BEIJING, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan left here Sunday morning for a working visit to Myanmar and Thailand in Southeast Asia.
Tang is visiting Myanmar and Thailand respectively at the invitation of Thein Sein, Secretary-1 of the State Peace and Development Council of Myanmar and the Thai government.
According to Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu, Tang will exchange views with leaders of the two countries on strengthening good-neighborly friendly relationship of cooperation, as well as other issues of common concern.
