Kazakhstan wins men's 4X10km relay at Winter Asiad

    JILIN, Northeast China, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- Kazakhstan collected four gold medals in cross country after winning the men's 4X10km relay at the Asian Winter Games at Beidahu, Jilin city on Saturday.

    Kazakhstan, consisting of Sergey Cherepanov, Andrey Kondryshev,Maxim Odnodvortsev and Nikolay Chebotko, clocked in one hour 55 minutes and 46.3 seconds to take the title, with a big advantage of four minutes and 54.3 seconds ahead of the second-placed Japan relay team.

    China, comprising Li Geliang, Xia Wan, Bian Wenyou and Wang Songtao, was third with seven minutes and 33.7 seconds behind Kazakhstan.

    In an earlier competition on Saturday, Kazakhstan also won the women's 4X5km relay.
