JILIN, Northeast China, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Oxana Yatskaya of Kazakhstan won her country the first gold medal at the 6th Asian Winter Games after taking the women's 5km classical cross country skiing here on Wednesday.

    Yatskaya clocked a winning time of 15 minutes 57.73 seconds for the gold, followed by her compatriot Svetlana Malakhova in the second place at 15:59.42. The bronze medal went to Wang Chunli of China at 16:02.73.
