    JILIN, Northeast China, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Japan claimed the second snowboard gold medal as Kokubo Kazuhiro took the men's halfpipe gold at the 6th Asian Winter Games at the Beidahu ski resort, Jilin city on Tuesday.

    Kazuhiro scored 44.5 points to win the competition following fellow-Japanese Shiho Nakashima's victory in the women's halfpipe snowboard on Monday.

    Chinese Shi Wancheng, who scored just 20.70 points in the qualification run, took the silver medal at last with 42.0 points. Another Japanese Daisuke Murakami was third at 40.7 points.
