Future unsure for
Beckham
BEIJING, Oct. 26 -- David Beckham has plenty of time to
think about his future now that he's not playing so much soccer.
Dropped by his country and benched by Real Madrid,
the former England captain is being linked with a return to the English Premier

may recall David Beckham to represent England, his adviser Max Clifford
disclosed on Thursday.

for Newcastle this English Premier League season have won him a recall to the

BEIJING, Sept. 20 -- Soccer superstar David Beckham
is unable to tell his young sons he was dropped from the England team last month
(August 2006).
Beckham has three boys - Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz -
with his ex-Spice Girls wife Victoria Beckham.
However, he is dreading breaking the boys' hearts by

Gerrard to take Beckham's position
playing on right side
MANCHESTER, England, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- New England
manager Steve McClaren revealed on Tuesday Steven Gerrard will take David
Beckham's place to play on the right side of midfield against Greece.
"I spoke with Stevie and he is delighted with that -
he will play anywhere for England," said McClaren.
"It is an evolution. We are looking at one or two

FRANKFURT, July 2 (Xinhua) -- David Beckham is standing
down as England captain, but insists he wants to continue his international
career.
"I have lived the dream, I'm extremely proud to have
worn the armband and been captain of England, for that I will always be
grateful," said the Real Madrid superstar at a new conference in England's
