BEIJING, Jan.8 (Xinhuanet) -- It appears Winnie-the-Pooh's pal, Tigger, sometimes has trouble keeping his paws off teenagers at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.

In August 2004, a 36-year-old Briton who played Tigger at the famous theme park, was accused of fondling a 13-year-old girl's breast while posing with her for a photograph. He was found not guilty.

Sunday the cartoon tiger was suspended from his position at Disney-MGM Studios -- one of four theme parks at Walt Disney World -- after allegedly landing a left hook to the head of 14-year-old Jerry Monaco.

"He hit me pretty hard. I could feel it even though he was wearing padded gloves," said the teenager, adding that there was "no provoking at all."

And Jerry Monaco's father has the whole thing on video.

The video shows Tigger posing cheerfully with the teenager. The boy has his left arm across Tigger's back when Winnie's sidekick suddenly hits him in the face with his orange paw. The boy then slaps Tigger back.

Michael J. Fedelem, 31, one of several Disney staff who play the costumed creature, has been suspended pending an investigation.

"Physical altercations between cast members and guests are not tolerated," said a Disney spokesman.

The teen's dad wants the man behind the mask to say he's sorry.

"Everyone came up to apologize," he said. "But Tigger won't be a man about it, get out of the costume and apologize to my son."
