Special report: Tension escalates in Iraq
BAGHDAD, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Unknown gunmen shot dead six people,including three children, from one family in south of Baghdad on Tuesday, an Interior Ministry source said.
"Armed men stormed the house of a family in the Ja'arah village near Madain town early in the morning and opened fire, killing all the family members," the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
In a separate incident, a roadside bomb went off at the Camp Sarah neighborhood in eastern Baghdad early in the morning, wounding six people, the source added.
