"Three car bombs went off in quick succession at 3:30 p.m. (1230 GMT) in Huriyah neighborhood," the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

"At least 15 people were killed and 25 others wounded," the source added.

Earlier, the source said that a car bomb detonated in the neighborhood followed by mortar rounds, killing three and wounding seven others.
