NAIROBI, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- Somali Prime Minister Ali Mohamed Gedi arrived in the capital of Mogadishu on Friday, reports reaching here said.
Gedi's heavily armed convoy of 22 vehicles drove in the city as Somali's transitional government seized the control of key installations there.
Gedi celebrated the recapture of Mogadishu on Thursday with a visit to his hometown of Afgoye for the first time in four years.
Somali Islamic courts pulled out of Mogadishu on Thursday as forces of Ethiopia and Somali Transitional Federal Government prepared to launch attacks there.
