"Harry Potter" actor takes stage

    BEIJING, Oct. 24 -- The world knows him as boy wizard Harry Potter. Now, Daniel Radcliffe wants the world to see him differently. Next summer, the 17-year-old will take to a London stage in the Tony Award-winning drama "Equus" and will perform nude during one scene, according Newsweek magazine in editions that hit newsstands yesterday.

    BEIJING, Aug. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," the sixth installment of the lucrative series, is due out in theaters on November 21, 2008. Now, Warner Bros. just needs to hire a director and confirm the cast. The fifth installment, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," bows in July.

Rumours have been circulating over the fate of the main character Harry played in the box office hit movie by teen actor Daniel Radcliffe.

    Harry Potter actor to be naked on stage

    BEIJING, July 31 -- Daniel Radcliffe will strip off his Harry Potter eyeglasses and robes for his London stage debut next year.

    The 17-year-old actor, who plays the bespectacled schoolboy wizard in the Hollywood adaptations of J.K. Rowling's novels, will star as a troubled stableboy in Peter Shaffer's "Equus."
