    DOHA, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Indian tennis ace Leander Paes became the most successful male player in the tennis tournament of the Asian Games following his feat in winning two gold medals at the Doha Asiad here on Wednesday.

    Paes lifted his total medal tally in both the singles and doubles at the Asian Games to a record of six medals.

    The 33-year-old, who took part in the Asian Games for the firsttime in Beijing in 1990, won the men's doubles with Mahesh Bhupathi and the mixed doubles with Sania Mirza on Wednesday.

    He has won four gold medals in doubles event.
