    DOHA, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- China's National Games champion Li Yanxi successfully carried himself ahead as he won the Asian Gamestitle with a 17.06-meter personal best at the men's triple jump here on Tuesday.

    The 23-year-old, who won the same event of last year's NationalGames of China in Nanjing representing Hebei province, did not seal his victory Tuesday night until his fifth attempt, beating KazakRoman Valiyev to the second on 16.98m.

    South Korea's Kim Deok-Hyeon was the third with a result of 16.87, as all top four finishers out of the 15 competitors came out with personal best results at the final with few big names.
