China's Que beat world No. 1 to lift trampoline gold at Asiad

    DOHA, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- China's Que Zhicheng beat world number one Yasuhiro Ueyama from Japan to win the men's individual trampoline gold medal at the Doha Asian Games on Tuesday.

    Que Zhicheng earned the highest score of 39.50 to capture the title. Que performed an impressive height from the trampoline, maintaining amplitude and showing powerful twists.

    Que qualified as the second finisher a day earlier after his teammate Lu Chenglong, who pocketed the silver on 39.10 points.

    Shunsuke Nagasaki of Japan was third on 38.80, grabbing the bronze.

    World No. 1 Yasuhiro Ueyama, who won gold at the world cup final in Birmingham in November, faded away and finished fourth on38.40.
