    DOHA, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- South Korean cyclists set the new Asian and Asiad record in men's team pursuit at the Doha Asian Games on Tuesday, taking the gold medal with a time of four minutes and 12.746 seconds.

    The South Korean team had refreshed the Games' record in the qualification stage on Monday with a time of 4:14.534.

    Iran took the silver in 4:14.226, while China snared the bronze in 4:14.489.

    Iran and China also broke the Asiad record set by South Korea in the qualification.

    "We just tried our best today, before the event, our coach told us to concentrate on the track," said Wang Youguo of China.
