BEIJING, Dec. 7 -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao
will go to the Philippine city of Cebu next week for the China-ASEAN Summit.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Foreign Ministry has also
confirmed that he'll attend the 7th Summit of China, Japan and South Korea.
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Cui Tiankai said
Premier Wen Jiabao will take part in the 10th ASEAN+3 meeting, the 10th
China-ASEAN Summit and the 2nd East Asia Summit. An official visit to the
Philippines is also on the premier's itinerary.
During the ASEAN meetings, China will propose a
series of practical ways to promote cooperation with ASEAN nations. China will
also sign some trade agreements.
Cui Tiankai also said that DPRK nuclear talks will be
a top priority at the China-Japan-South Korea summit.
Premier Wen will also hold talks with Australian
Prime Minister John Howard, New Zealand's Prime Minister Helen Clark and Indian
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the sidelines of ASEAN meetings.
