DOHA, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Asian champion Ji Liping of China took the women's
50m breaststroke gold medal and set a Games record in the Asian Games swimming
competition here on Saturday.
Ji clocked a new record of 31.52 seconds to win the 50m breaststroke which
was added to the Asian Games program for the first time.
Japanese Asami Kitagawa was second in 32.27 while Chinese teenager Wang Jun took bronze in 32.53.
