    DOHA, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese women's volleyball team aims at gold medal at the 15th Asian Games, said head coach Chen Zhonghe here on Tuesday.

    Shortly after touching down at the Doha airport, Chen told reporters that his team's performance at the just concluded women's volleyball world championship is "not so satisfactory".

    "We hope we will have better performance at the Asian Games," he said.

    The Chinese women's volleyball team, which won gold medal at the Athens Olympic Games, only finished fifth at the world championship.

    Before his arrival at Doha, Chen said his team is suffering from injuries and illness, which is partly attributable to the team's performance at women's volleyball world championship.
