Special report: Crisis between Israel and
Palestine
GAZA, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- A military wing of Islamic Resistance Movement
(Hamas) claimed on Sunday responsibility for wounding three Israelis in a rocket
attack against Sderot city.
Following the shelling, Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades, an armed wing of
Hamas, issued a statement claiming they have launched two home-made missiles
into south Israeli town of Sderotin response to the massacres committed by the
Israeli army against the Palestinians.
Meanwhile, Israeli radio said three Israeli people were wounded by Qassam
rockets and some houses suffered slight damage.
On Saturday night, Palestinian medical sources announced two people have
died days after they were wounded in Israeli army operations in northern Gaza
Strip.
The dead included a woman working in a kindergarten. She was critically
wounded earlier this month when a tank shell exploded near a bus carrying the
woman and a number of children to the kindergarten. Moreover, another militant
died while receiving treatment in an Egyptian hospital.
