BEIJING, Nov. 18 -- Britney Spears has turned to ex-lover Justin Timberlake
to cope with the breakdown of her second marriage.
It has been claimed that Britney was making tearful
phone calls to Justin even before she filed for divorce from Kevin Federline
last week.
A source told Britain's Grazia magazine: "Justin said
Britney has called him crying a number of times about her relationship with
Kevin. She has gone through an excruciating time. It's very sad. She doesn't
want anybody to feel sorry for her or see her as a victim. She has been trying
for months to make it work for the sake of her children."
One of the tracks on Justin's new album
"FutureSex/LoveSounds" appears to be a warning to an ex-girlfriend, strongly
believed to be Britney, about staying with an unfaithful partner.
The lyrics to "What Goes Around...Comes Around" read:
"You spend your nights alone/ And he never comes home/ And every time you call
him/ All you get is a busy tone/ I heard you found out/ That he's doing to you/
What you did to me."
Britney filed for divorce last week after allegedly
catching Kevin with another woman in a New York hotel.

It's over: Britney to divorce
Federline
BEIJING,
Nov. 8 (Xinhuanet) -- The guessing game over Britney Spears' stormy marriage
finally got a result: the Baby One More Time singer has filed for divorce
from her dancer husband Kevin Federline of two years and one month.
Spears, 24, cited irreconcilable differences on her
divorce petition, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Tuesday,
according to media reports.
Publicists for the singer was not immediately
available for comment.
Spears asked for sole custody of her two sons with
Federline, one-year-old Sean Preston, and James Jayden, born on Sept. 12. She
did agree in the filing to let Federline have visitation rights.
News of Spears' divorce came just one day after she
made a surprise appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, where she
laughed and joked with the veteran chat show host but gave no clue of the
impending announcement.
Spears married Federline after a six-month courtship
in 2004. In January that year, she married childhood friend Jason Alexander
in Las Vegas, and anulled that marriage after 55 hours.
Rumors that the marriage was rocky had been
circulating for months. But Spears denied she was estranged from her husband,
saying he had helped her weather the ups and downs of her second pregnancy.
The pop singer shot to superstardom in late 1998,
with her smash hit debut album Baby One More Time which she followed with
another chart-topping success the following year, Oops!...I Did It Again.
According to Time magazine, Spears has sold over 76
million records worldwide and her 31 million albums sold in the U.S. make her
the eighth best-selling female artist in American music history.

Kevin Federline seeks to shed "Mr Britney
Spears" tag
BEIJING, Nov. 7 -- Aspiring rapper Kevin Federline is so tired of being
referred to as "Mr Britney Spears", that he's decided to pen a book about his
life so that people can know the real him.
The "Playing With Fire" singer, who was a back-up
dancer when he met Spears, has not had an easy time dealing with the loss of his
identity and being referred to only as Britney's hubby.
Now, in a bid to create an independent image for
himself, Federline has decided to pen the story of what his life was like before
he met the "Toxic" singer.
"The book is definite. It will be a biography of my
life until I met my wife, so people will better understand who I am," the New
York Post quoted him, as saying.
However, unlike his rap career, K-Fed won't be
tackling his new project on his own, deciding instead to hire the services of a
ghostwriter.
"I haven't done it yet. You know, I'll get a
ghostwriter in there," he added.
