GAZA, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Israeli army aircrafts at
Thursday night destroyed two homes owned by families of Palestinian militants
involved in carrying out attacks on Israel, Palestinian security sources and
eyewitnesses said.
The sources said that one house, which belongs to a
Hamas militant, was destroyed by air-to-ground rocket in Habalia refugee camp in
northern Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported, but the house was badly damaged.
Meanwhile, another airstrike destroyed a second house
in the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah, which belongs to the family of another
militant. But no injuries were reported.
The sources said that the owners of the houses were
notified on telephone by the Israeli army that they should vacate their homes
because Israeli aircrafts would destroy them just half an hour before targeting
the houses.
On Wednesday, five more houses belong to militants'
families were destroyed by airstrikes, after a deadly homemade rocket fired by
Palestinian militants from northern Gaza Strip at the southern Israeli town of
Sderot.
One Israeli woman was killed and one of the
bodyguards of Israeli defense Minister Amir Peretz was seriously wounded in the
attack on the home town of Peretz.
In responds to the killing, Peretz vowed to target
heads of militant groups involved in launching homemade rockets from Gaza Strip
at Israel.
