BEIJING, Nov. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- Pop icon Michael Jackson is expected, though not confirmed, to appear at a Christmas party in Tokyo.
If Jackson agreed to the event, the "Premium Christmas" show would be officially announced this week, the Nikkan Sports tabloid said Sunday.
Organizers hoped to hold the event in Tokyo on Dec. 19, and the best tickets -- "platinum" -- would be priced at 3,400 U.S. dollars per person.
They said they do not plan to let Jackson sing at the event, but only need him to "have dinner with his fans" with his recorded music being played.
Those with platinum tickets, they promised, would be allowed to "sit nearer to Jackson" and have a group picture taken with the singer.
