BEIJING, Nov. 7 (Xinhuanet) -- After losing 35 kg, Kirstie Alley, once named "Fat Actress," fulfilled her promise and put on a bikini on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" Monday. "You look beautiful," TV hostess Winfrey Oprah said.
Alley, 55, hitting a high of 100 kg in 2005, promised Winfrey that she would be bikini ready in one year.
Alley, well known as an actress in the CBS television show "Cheers," said she's learned how to make smart choices when dining out. For exercise, she dances and works out with a personal trainer. She's also quit smoking.
"We can decide to change anything -- at any age," Alley said. "What I hope for all women is they feel good about themselves, they look the way they want to look."
