BEIJING, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- The leaders' roundtable meeting for the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation continued in the afternoon and will conclude later Sunday, before two historic documents, a declaration and an action plan for 2007-2009, are adopted.
Following the summit, Chinese, Ethiopia and Egyptian
foreign ministers are expected to jointly meet the press.
Earlier Sunday, the 2nd Conference of Chinese and
African Entrepreneurs concluded with 16 agreements signed between 12 Chinese
enterprises and African governments and firms, worth of nearly 1.9 billion U.S.
dollars in total.
The two-day landmark summit has been widely acclaimed
as the most important and largest gathering between Chinese and African leaders
since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949.
