Bush defends CIA's questioning techniques

    WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President George W. Bush on Friday defended the questioning techniques used by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) on terror suspects, saying the techniques were necessary to get "precise intelligence, good information."

Bush acknowledges existence of secret CIA prisons

    WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- By announcing transfer of 14 key terror suspects from secret CIA custody to U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, U.S. President George W. Bush acknowledged on Wednesday the prisons' existence.
