NANNING, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said here on Monday that the Commemorative Summit marking the 15th Anniversary of China-ASEAN dialogue relations is a "milestone" in the history of China-ASEAN relations that links the past and leads toward future.

Wen made the remarks at a press conference upon conclusion of the summit. Leaders of the ten members of ASEAN attended the summit meeting, the first one ever held outside ASEAN member countries.

"We unanimously agree that the strategic partnership between China and ASEAN not only brought tangible benefits to our people, but also contributed significantly to the peace, stability and prosperity in Asia," Wen said.
