NEW YORK, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- More than twenty people were sent to the hospital with minor burns and some residents became homeless after a fire tore through a row of buildings in the Bronx, New York City Sunday.
Very strong, gusty winds hampered firefighting efforts and helped fan the flames. As a result, four adjacent buildings also caught fire and were severely damaged. A three-story where fire started partially collapsed.
