LAGOS, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- A Nigerian airliner crashed on Sunday near the airport of the capital Abuja, a local radio reported.

    The Boeing-737 with more than 100 people on board, was owned by Aviation Development Company, a private Nigerian airline, local Ray Power FM said.

    Privately owned Channels Television said the plane was bound for Lagos and crashed shortly after takeoff.
