Jiangtaibao celebrates 70th anniversary of Long March

Li Zhanrong, aged 86 and an old Red Army soldier, cherishes the memory of past experiences in front of a monument marking the joining of the forces of the Red Army at Jiangtaibao in Xiji county of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, northwest China, Oct. 22, 2006. A total of 4500 representatives gathered here on Sunday to attend a ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Long March.
