MADRID, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- Brazilian striker Ronaldo was suspended for one game Tuesday after the Spanish soccer federation rejected Real Madrid's appeal.
Ronaldo was sent off in the dying minutes of his team's 1-0 defeat following a second yellow card at Getafe on Saturday after he was shown the first for an 82nd-minute foul.
Ronaldo's ejection was his first in the Spanish league.
He will likely miss Real Madrid's match against his former club FC Barcelona this weekend at Santiago Bernabeu. Enditem
