KABUL, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- A suicide car bombing on
NATO forces in south Afghanistan killed four persons including the bomber and
wounded five others including a soldier of the western military alliance on
Monday.
"The explosive material planted in a car blew up when
a convoy of NATO troops reached Dorahi area from the Kandahar airport killing
the bomber and three civilians," a witness, Ghulam Ali, told Xinhua.

Parts of the body of the suicide bomber were
scattered around, he added.
Five more persons including a NATO soldier were
injured in the explosion, the eye-witness added.
Meanwhile, a NATO spokesman, Euan Downie, confirmed
the attack but declined to say if there were any casualties on the NATO troops.
"There was a suicide bombing but I do not know if
there were any casualties on NATO forces," he told Xinhua.
Some 2,300 Canadian soldiers under the NATO flag have
been stationed in Kandahar to help stabilize security in the troubled region.
It is the second suicide attack in the post-Taliban
Afghanistanin a single day on Monday.
Previous suicide attack in the capital city Kabul
left the attacker dead and wounded three civilians on a road connecting the U.S.
