   PYONGYANG, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) on Sunday accused South Korea of deliberate provocation along the Military Demarcation Line (MDL) between the two countries.

    "South Korean soldiers shot at the DPRK side of the MDL with more than sixty bullets at noon on Saturday, which is very dangerous to DPRK soldiers on duty," the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted a military source as saying.

    "Such action is a kind of intolerable military provocation," which can be "quiet down is totally due to DPRK soldiers' patience," added the KCNA.

    Reports said five DPRK soldiers crossed the MDL between South Korea and the DPRK, and returned to the north after South Korean soldiers fired warning shots. Enditem
