GAZA, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- One Palestinian militant
was killed and three others wounded when an Israeli missile hit their car in
southern Gaza border town of Rafah on Saturday night, Palestinian witnesses and
medics said.
The witnesses said that the four militants were in a car driving in al-Sallam neighborhood of Rafah as an Israeli
drone fired one air-to-ground missile at their car.
Palestinian medics said that one was sent to hospital
dead and three others wounded, one of them in critical conditions.
The four militants are members of al-Mujahideen
Brigades, an armed branch of Fatah's military wing al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades,
said Palestinian security sources.
Meanwhile, a group of militants from Al-Quds
Brigades, armed wing of the Islamic Jihad (Holy War), narrowly escaped another
missile attack launched by an Israeli drone in the northern Gaza Strip town of
Beit Hanoun.
Local witnesses said that the militants were targeted
by Israeli drone when they were approaching a rocket launcher in the town and
were about to fire homemade rockets from the area at Israel.
