BEIJING, Sept. 28 -- It seems lovebirds Tom
Cruise and Katie Holmes are planning to star in a movie together.
The A-list couple - who finally introduced their baby
daughter Suri to the world in a Vanity Fair photoshoot a few weeks ago - are
thought to be searching for a big screen project they can co-star in.
"Tom is looking for a movie that will make the most
of their chemistry," a source told Life and Style Weekly magazine.
"He's devoting himself to putting together a project
that will not only make Katie a bona fide star, but will put him back in the
good graces of the movie-going public."
And it sounds as if the star couple are both looking
to move in new directions with the flick.
"This time, he's looking beyond the typical action
roles. Katie is open to any project her fiance puts forward but is desperate to
lose the 'girl next door' image she gained from years starring as Joey in TV
show Dawson's Creek," said the insider.
Earlier this month, Tom was dropped by Paramount
studios after they grew tired of his controversial antics, which included
speaking out about his Scientology beliefs and his now infamous couch-jumping
incident on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
