SHANGHAI, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus on
Monday urged more Chinese enterprises to invest in his country, highlighting
closer economic and trade ties.
China has made achievements in its economic development and Lithuania is
ready to learn from China, said Adamkus at a trade seminar in China's economic
hub of Shanghai, hoping Lithuania and Shanghai further expand trade exchanges.
Adamkus arrived in Shanghai on Sunday, kicking off his first state visit to
China as Lithuanian president.
Adamkus will spend five days in China, during which he will also meet with
Chinese top leaders Hu Jintao, Wu Bangguo and Wen Jiabao. Enditem
