Cheng Zhiliang, 27, graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University and began to work for Xinhua News Agency in 2000; served in the Xinhua-run Reference News Newspaper, and Xinhua's Reference News Department and the Department of Domestic News for Overseas Service; and worked in Xinhua's Africa Regional Bureau from July 2003 to June 2005.
