NEW YORK, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) - Ailing Cuban leader Fidel Castro appeared standing briefly during a meeting with Venezuela President Hugo Chavez at a summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Cuba, Reuters reported.

    Castro appeared in a video shown on Cuban state TV on Thursday, Reuters said.

    It was the first video showing the 80-year-old Cuban leader standing and out of bed since he fell ill in late July. Enditem
