NASA selects Aug. 27 to launch Atlantis

    WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- NASA announced on Wednesday that it will launch the space shuttle Atlantis on Aug. 27, according to NASA TV.

Shuttle Atlantis reaches launch pad

    BEIJING, Aug.3 (Xinhuanet) -- NASA's space shuttle Atlantis Wednesday arrived at its launch pad at the Kennedy Space Center on Cape Canaveral, Florida, in preparation for a launch later this month.
