HELSINKI, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- Asian and European leaders attending the 6th Asia-Europe Summit(ASEM) on Monday formally accepted India, Pakistan, Mongolia, Bulgaria and Romania as well as the ASEAN Secretariat to join the ASEM process.

    The decision was announced in a press release issued after the two-day meeting which brought together leaders and top officials from the European Union's 25 members and 13 Asian countries -- the10 members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) plus China, Japan and South Korea.
