China's top legislator starts visit to Chile

    SANTIAGO, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- China's top legislator Wu Bangguo arrived here on Tuesday for a three-day official visit to Chile.

    In a statement delivered at the airport upon his arrival, Wu, chairman of the Standing Committee of National People's Congress, said that he expects to hold discussions with Chilean President Michelle Bachelet and Chilean parliament speakers about Sino-Chilean relations and issues of mutual concern. China offers 4-point proposal on economic cooperation with Chile 

    SANTIAGO, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- China's top legislator Wu Bangguo offered a four-point proposal on Wednesday for the enhancement of China-Chile economic and trade cooperation.

    Delivering a speech at the Chile-China Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum, Wu said the economies of China and Chile are highly complementary and he hoped the two countries would further improve economic ties in four areas. Full Story ->>
