Partial moon eclipse to occur Thursday

    NEW DELHI, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- A partial eclipse of the Moon will take place from 11:35 p.m. (1805 GMT) Thursday to 1:08 a.m. Friday (1938 GMT, Thursday) in India, the Ministry of Science and Technology said Wednesday.

    The eclipse will be visible from all parts of India, the ministry said in a press release.

    The beginning of the umbral phase will be seen in New Zealand, middle of Pacific Ocean, east Australia, east Japan and northeast Russia while the ending will be visible in northwest Africa, west Europe, Ireland and middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Enditem
