rejected all the complaints made by left-wing candidate Andres Manuel Lopez
Obrador, who had alleged electoral fraud and called large-scale demonstrations.
The ruling party said that Calderon had won just over
14.9 million votes, a slender 233,831 advantages over Obrador, confirming the
much-disputed results a previous count.
Analysts said that they expect the seven Tribunal
judges to vote unanimously in favor of the ratification.
The change of president is planned for Dec. 1, when
Calderon will replace Vicente Fox, of his National Action Party, for six years.
Fox will meet with Calderon on Wednesday and will give a message to the nation
on Wednesday night, according to presidential spokesman, Ruben Aguilar.
The Tribunal spokesman, Judge Flavio Galvan, told
media that 41,557,430 Mexican citizens had voted.
Obrador had been calling for a vote-by-vote recount of the election, saying repeatedly that Calderon is a usurper of the presidency.
The Tribunal had previously agreed to recount only 11,839 ballot boxes, some nine percent of the total, and ruled that only 8,000 of these had any signs of irregularities. Enditem
