BEIJING, Aug. 29 -- Scarlett Johansson refuses to be
left behind.
With other popular actresses cashing in on their
celebrity by inking lucrative deals and endorsements with major brand names --
Elizabeth Hurley just signed with Jordache -- Miss Johansson has agreed to team
up with Reebok for a fashion project.
Next spring, the sneaker giant will launch Scarlett
"Hearts" Rbk, a line of athletic-inspired footwear and fashion-forward apparel.
Miss Johansson also will model the head-to-toe looks in a global multimedia
advertising campaign.
Reebok won't say how much the 21-year-old film star
is being paid.
Reaction has been swift. At idontlikeyouinthatway.com, one blogger commented, "It's nice to see a woman with curves being recognized as sexy" while another declared: "I wish she would stick to acting, but I guess the money is that tempting."
