NASA scraps launch of Atlantis due to new fuel sensor glitch

A new fuel sensor glitch forced NASA to postpone Friday's launch of space shuttle Atlantis for another 24 hours, according to NASA's official website.

   WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- A new fuel sensor glitch forced NASA to postpone Friday's launch of space shuttle Atlantis for another 24 hours, according to NASA's official website.

   BEIJING, Sept. 6 (Xinhuanet)-- NASA managers postponed the launch of the space shuttle Atlantis Wednesday for at least a day due to a problem with one of the ship's three onboard fuel cells, officials with the U.S. space agency said.
