China's top advisory body, met here on Wednesday with Nong Duc Manh, general

Jia, chairman of the National Committee of the
Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), told Manh that he
had been impressed by the deep friendship with the Vietnamese party, government
and people and the development of Vietnam's reforms during his most recent visit
there in March.
He congratulated Manh on the success of the 10th CPV
National Party Congress in April, saying Vietnam will record greater
achievements in its reform and socialist construction under the new leadership
elected on the occasion.
In the 21st century, relations between China and
Vietnam and the two parties have entered a new phase of development, Jia said,

The CPPCC National Committee will enhance exchanges
and cooperation with its counterpart, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to promote
relations between the two peoples and countries.
Manh said the frequent exchange of visits between the
two countries is a key component of bilateral ties. He spoke highly of the
relations between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the CPPCC.
