British court gives police more time to question bomb plot suspects

LONDON, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- A British court on Wednesday gave police more time to question 23 people they were holding on suspicion of plotting to blow up transatlantic airliners.
The warrants for 21 suspects were extended until Aug. 23 and for the two others until Aug. 21, police said in a statement. Enditem
