Former U.S. president Ford admitted to hospital for testing

    LOS ANGELES, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- Former U.S. President Gerald Ford was admitted to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota on Tuesday for "testing and evaluation," his office said in a statement.

    "No further releases or updates are anticipated prior to early next week," said the statement. Enditem
